Crowbar is proud to kick off the current European tour at Hellfest on Friday! There has been one venue change on the tour schedule. The June 29 show will now be held at Paradox in Ingolstadt, Germany with Redrum supporting.

Down is playing two live shows in May. Friday May 14 in Switzerland at the Long"I"Rock Festival, and opening for AC/DC in Romania on Sunday May 16.

A very special celebration as Kirk and Sepultura join forces for a rendition of Motorheads "Orgasmatron".HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIRK!!!!!

1989. That's over 20 long years ago. Countless memories. Some still vivid, most just a blur. The one constant thing has been my focus and desire. The same vision I had in '89 is still burning strong in my head. Possibly stronger than ever. When you put this much blood, sweat and tears into something you can never look back. Fueled by the down-tuned sludge of the Melvins and the over-the-top aggression of Peter Steele's Carnivore, I set out to create my own beast and Crowbar was born. The band's sound was labeled Doom-Core by the European press shortly after the debut release of OBEDIENCE THRU SUFFERING. I found it to be quite fitting then and still do honestly. Crowbar have released 8 full length cd's, the second selling over 100,000 units worldwide. We threw in a live EP and a few compilations for good measure and that's where we stand today. Anyone who knows Crowbar is familiar with the numerous label and line-up changes over the years. I couldn't be more happy with the group of guys in our current lineup. In terms of musicianship, loyalty and friendship, this is our strongest lineup to date. Period.

As I am typing this, we are furiously writing a new full length for you. We will also be re-releasing most of our back catalog and a new live full length thru Housecore records. I've lived a thousand life times over the course of the last 20+ years, but this old dog's got a lot more than you think left in the tank!

Hey to all of the Crowbar supporters out there. I will be having a bunch of  updates coming your way really soon. For starters, Matt Brunson (Kingdom Of Sorrow) is now the permanent guitarist in Crowbar. We of course all remain very good friends with Steve Gibb, but his personal training business and gym are doing great I'm happy to report, but that, and his family at home simply do not give him the time to play with Crowbar any longer. We love him dearly and thank him for his dedication while he was jamming with Crowbar.

I would also like to inform anyone that doesn't already know, the first show of the Stillborn Fest with Hatebreed has been moved from Syracuse to Electric Factory in Philly. This will take place on the 26th of December. Please check www.hatebreed.com for any more updates. There are a lot of good things going on in the Crowbar camp and I will be updating the site frequently. Until next time, stay heavy and thanks for your support,
